Not only is the Musée d’Orsay one of the best museums in the world (ranked the best in the world by TripAdvisor Travellers Choice) but it is also one of the most beautiful! The museum is housed inside a restored old railway station, the former Gare d’Orsay. The stunning architecture alone is well worth the visit. By far, Musée d’Orsay is my favorite museum!
