For those who don’t know, Chow Mein means “stir-fried noodles”. Technically, Chow Mein is a dish from China. But it is also (very) popular in Nepal.

The Nepali version of Chow Mein is super easy to make. Unlike other Nepali dishes, Chow Mein is prepared with ingredients that are easy to find.

Below is our recipe (makes 5-6 plates). But you can vary with other vegetables of your choice as well (mushrooms, zucchinis, beans, …) and replace the chicken with fish, shrimps, pork… or simply prepare a vegetarian version.

Get your pan ready! It’s time for chicken chowmein today.
